Anyone else see the Singer 911 on Top Gear UK?
Jaw dropping. Driving the new 991, and then cut over to the Singer 911 beauty. With the gorgeous production of Top Gear, that was jaw dropping. Video still on my kid's torrent, could not find the video online yet.

Yes, it was well done. And the following caravan hauler segment was worth a few chuckles as well.

Yes, I saw the segment. It was available via BBC's web site i-player for awhile.
The exasperation after the segment regarding in-studio discussion of Porsche details was also quite entertaining. Quite honestly, I can't see how the Singers, as good as they may be, are worth the price. |

I'm glad James May did both the 991 and the Singer. He is a Porsche guy. I wish they had let the Stig have at it on their airport track.

Now in 993 land ...

Don't know about you guys - and no offense to Don, the OP - but I think this Singer car has jumped the shark. I have read everything about it when it came out and now it just is repeating itself and popping up around the world. How long has it been out? It feels like 5 years. I am bored with it.

This is worth a look. From the 911 tech forum although I haven't tried the links.

I don't see the Top Gear excerpt up on youtube yet. But here's about an hour's worth of videos including one with Adam Corolla

I thought that Top Gear was a great episode start to finish. Now that I think about it, I've enjoyed most of the episodes lately. Seems to just be getting better with age.
