TV alert..."The Godfather" on AMC this weekend
They've been showing it as part of "mob week" on AMC.
Like most of you I have seen it umpteen times....but it's such a great movie it never gets old! In fact it's such a great movie - for me - I'm still amazed a film could be produced so well...the writing, screenplay, backdrops, props, cast, actors, acting, editing, music, etc. etc. Brando, Caan, Pacino......amazing performances!

I recorded it last week...been watching if on/off. One of the best-casted movies, IMO.

Top 3 movie ever but I won't watch it on AMC. That channel blows. Went from no commercials to being unbearable to watch a movie on there because of them. Besides I have it on VHS

I have it on DVD and still stayed up too late to watch the end.
When I was in college our fine arts book cited it as an example of how to properly make a movie.
