Couldn't make it through the porno quality video, sorry. Bizarre fenders on that 965 though, almost a slant nose. I don't recall ever seeing one like that.

I won't stand for you insulting my favorite genre.

I just love it when a P-car takes anything Italian!!!

That thing is fast. We have roll start racing at our local track and it's a lot of fun to watch. It's also easier on the equipment and gets the kids off the street. A local guy has a black Turbo P-car and it's pretty quick. I haven't seen him lose...yet.

Looks like they started with 94 Turbo S flachbau fenders and added 997 headlights.

IS there such a thing as a turbo C2? Weren't turbos AWD by then?

matt f 08-19-2013 06:50 AM

Mine on COA described as "1994 C2 Turbo 3.6."
1995 no turbos.
1996 AWD twin turbo introduced.

964 turbos = 2WD. 993 Turbos = AWD.

It's Eddie Bello's car and it has been around for years.

The car is a regular 964 Carrera 2 that's setup for drag racing with a very high hp engine, the headlights are actually from a 997.

Exactly - As soon as I saw the car I knew it was Eddie's..............

Somehow I don't recall ever seeing those flacbau fenders, it gives the 964 an interesting 968-like look. I don't like it, but I also never liked the slantnose Carreras.

speeder 08-20-2013 05:49 AM

I'd say it's to make the car slipperier considering the speeds he's reaching and the type of racing.

Or it was a unique repair job after stuffing it into a wall...

Eddie has the ONLY porsche to run 230 plus miles per hour in the standing mile. Yes, that includes water pumpers as well. The guy has huge brass ones and the mod was made for aero purposes - not for lack of driving ability...
