Some MG ZS and ZT had V6 engines as well

As I understand it, the Mark II was a special order racer and more rare in the US: V-6 with higher compression, larger oil pump and filter and suspension upgrades, etc. This one is not a Mark II and sounds like it is appropriately priced. Of course, I'm looking for a low-ball specimen with some likelihood of appreciation. I might go drive it.

I don't think there will be a market appreciation for TD's, unfortunately. I have owned a 65 MGB and was just looking at a Twin Cam. Don't think a Twin Cam will appreciate either. They are too old. I believe cars that appreciate need to be at the bottom of the depreciation curve with an audience that is just coming into the means of purchasing. That is 70's and 80's cars IMHO. Not an expert however.
A TD would be fun. Sort of like a four-wheel bicycle. Larry |
Agreed, Larry. As far as investments go, cars typically ain't and this one is priced near the top of the curve. Fun factor is definitely high which 'may' be having undue influence on me right now.
