Tragic event. The whole thing was just wrong.

Nothing new btw, stuff like this has been going on for thousands of years. There may be brief breaks in history where a localized people keep it together, but thats an exception not the rule.

Ultimately, it comes down to a rejection of right and wrong. If you do not like being wrong, you can reason yourself out of the existence of right or wrong - up until the point that the wrong of some one else wrong affects you.

Btw, lots of posters here also said the same about "TM" and "kid stuff", just youth, etc.

They shot him just to felel what it is like to murder someone. They shot him in the back. Hopefully they will never see the streets again. Since they are juveniles they will likely get away with murder. :(

They should all be charged with a hate crime as well as a Muder in the first degree.

Yes, but that won't happen because they are most likely disadvantaged youths. You know been beaten down all their lives, probably only one parent if that.

Before I go further, I wil acknowledge many people will find what I say obvious. To others it may not be so apparent. Also, I am in no way expressing sympathy for these boys.

They were not whole humans. What they lacked within themselves they found in each other. Apparently life holds no value to them probably due to the worthlessness they felt about their own. Because love is foreign to them, human life has no more sanctity to it than a mosquito has to us.

Some call this evil.

Granted, their backgrounds are most likely warped, (tremendously) but how can a human being have no regard for another person and just randomly kill them for fun or because they are bored.

These three boys are domestic terrorists. They have the same attitude as radical Islamists, they just want to kill for the sake of killing. Actually, it is worse than that, these three boys have no rational reason for doing what they did. No logic whatsoever.

Why didn't they just shoot each other then? You know, one through the heart and they can just lie there and watch each other die.

That's how their executions should be, simultaneously with them able to see a monitor of their buddy as he squirms to death.

Appreciate the questions. I have no knowledge of their backgrounds, aside from having just learned they were black-which in the context of mental illness-is not relevant to me. There is no rational explanation for their behavior, as you say, so a mental anomoly must be at play. The sheer selfish brutality of their activity can not have emerged within anyone who has experienced genuine love. Even a fleeting love, IMO, would have been sufficient to instill at least some humanity into these...organisms.

As far as calling them terrorists or their acts terrorism gives them too much credit. These, these pitiable beings have no ideology, no intellectual paradigm, no awareness of anything other than their own miserable and now wasted selves.

More importantly, where is the outrage from white leaders? Why aren't whites marching? Oh wait, sorry, I forgot. If whites did that they would be labeled as racists.

Most likely because that would have eliminated the only thing they thought they had: an affirmation of the worth of their own existences.

Execution in this instance seems to me to be masquerading as a punishment. There is no punishment equal to their depths of evil. Execution would be born of our anger-revenge. Nor is there any chance of rehabilitation because these inferiors will experience the rest of their lives, however long, as a series of proofs of the non-existence of genuine love.

Execution is appropriate not because of vengeance or punishment, but because it rids us and our world of at least a tiny bit of evil. Further, the cost of maintaining these creatures should not be born by a society so wounded by them or a society they so obviously were never a part of.

They said they were bored.

So put them on a remote island with some hungry wild boar pigs. They will not be bored for the rest of their very short lives. Turn them into pig poop. As fertlizer they will finally be of use to the planet.
