A client secretly took this photo of me with a tele lens the day my company dropped a bunch of Oak trees on her building site. She ask later and I granted permission to use it for a Calif. Contractor's Charity calendar back in 2008. Even though my name and company was under the photo, folks asked her how she got a shot of Jim Morrison. I didn't mind...I liked the attention. :)

I was introduced to Alan Watts on his house boat in Tiburon, CA.
I met a close friend of his in an EST Seminar back in the early 70s...and yes, she was a hottie.
She secured some pure liquid LSD from him and she and I dropped (1st time for me) some on our tongues and I've not been the same since, Thank God!

My wife and I went to the Porsche Double 50 at the Glen back in 1998 (I think). Walking through the garage area on Saturday morning when Brian Redman pulled up in his rental car. I was going to take a picture and he said, "Wait a minute, let's do this right", had my wife come over, put his arm around her and let me take a great picture :)

Redman counts as a superstar to me.

We are friends with Mike McCready (lead guitarist from Pearl Jam). He and his wife Ashley are great. Very civic minded folks who do a lot for the Seattle community.

We've run into Amitabh Bachchan in New Delhi. Not a name anyone in the US would know, but he's a god in Bollywood.

Honestly Motion, you wouldn't want to be Pierce Brosnan. Have you seen pics of his fat cow wife. She's about an exact opposite of yours.

LOL, yeah, I've had that pic of him and his wife emailed to me before!

My wife knows Jim Parsons (Big Bang) from college, before he was famous. We partied quite a few times in the day, they have met up on the infrequent times he comes to Houston.

Met and spoke with George Harrison at length about racing. We were in the Marlboro suite at Phoenix International Raceway.

When I was a kid in the early 60s, my Dad was a professor of Nuclear Engineering at MIT. I didn't realize it at the time, but he had lots of his MIT professors over for BBQs. Charles Townsend, Harold Edgerton, both Nobel prize winners, one for the laser, the other for high speed strobes. Also had a few Russians over on a scientific peacekeeping thing including Yuri Gagarin, first man in space. I didn't realize the significance because I was like 8 years old.

Strangely no note arrived :( I look like lots of people and she maybe mistakenly thought I was someone important

Do you have a strangely oblong-shaped head, maybe a second set of teeth that slide out from inside your mouth?

Back in the mid eighties I ran the dailies for the production crew on a movie called Morgan Stewart's coming home, Lots of names in that box office flop but the best part was when John Cryer was *****ing me out for something and following me out of my studio to my car. I was going to a turkey shoot that night and had a Toyota Celcia full of shotguns. He backed off real fast when I opened the door to get in and all he saw were "big guns" as he told it. He was about as much of a douche as Paul Gleason, who by the way doesn't act in the part of an a55hole, he just speaks

Yeah that's me. They liked having me as an extra on Alien because they didn't need to make me up each day.

I once mentioned shaking hands with a former POTUS and the shi!t hit the fan. So I won't mention that. Did shake hands with Rudy Giuliani though. And Bush Sr.

No big deal to stand in a line to shake someone's hand and get a pic. As a youngster I ate lunch with Andy Devine and sat on the horse James Arness rode in Gunsmoke. This was on the set. I was pretty wide eyed. It really didn't set in until the next show aired.

I'm around actors (Movie and TV Stars; whatever) all day long, I don't hardly know who they are, and don't really care. A few of the young new ones are pleasant enough, I guess.

I had a nice long breakfast with, and gave a ride in my 911 to, the very talented keyboardist and steel guitarist from Big Head Todd and The Monsters.

Got to meet Dave Matthews at the Sagamore Resort on Lake George NY a few summers back. We were there for the TSBL (Tri State Boxster League) rally in the Adirondacks and he had a concert at SPAC (Saratoga Performing Arts Center). One of my sons was getting something from the buffet and a llttle boy came up and grabbed a handful of hair from his leg. Mr Matthews came trotting over to get his kid and we all ended up chatting for bit. Cool guy and nice family.
