I work for Disney, and Disney's Golden Oak Ranch (880 acres) is a few miles from where I live. They have a couple of million gallon water tanks on the top of hills, with landing pads for water dropping helicopters. All paid for by Disney. When the fire department needs water, the Ranch manager provides Disney personnel free of charge to help them land, fill their tanks and take off; all night and weekends if necessary.

Doesn't cost Los Angeles County a dime. We don't advertise that we do it, we just do it.

Check out their website. Lots of filming history.

I took a discovery flight a bunch of weeks ago. It was quite amazing, I highly recommend it.

Coming back from Washington and Oregon last week, we watched a helo pilot doing the same thing along I-5 at the Oregon Cali border. He put the fire out. It was funny to see the homeowner drive up his driveway and get buzzed by the wash

That is very cool of Disney, and does not surprise me! Way to go!
