Iphone5 swipe app

Wife just got an IPhone 5. Is there a decent app that the swipe works like it does on an Android? Thanks

You mean swype? Unfortunately, no. The only thing I miss from Android...

There actually was an app, but it was for a jail broken iPhone and the guy had stopped developing it. It worked okay, but had a few annoying bugs.

I'd love to have Swype on my iPad, but Apple doesn't allow developers access to the keyboard. I've been hoping that since Jobs passed on that they might relax that eventually. Swype is just so superior when typing on this sort of device

My understanding was that it only worked with certain apps, but wasn't a full keyboard replacement so I never tried it

I'm pretty sure it worked everywhere on the iPhone, one of the reasons I dumped it, as one bug caused it to "swype" in certain situations where you didn't want it. As far as I know, it's dead anyway.

Dead AFA iPhone or altogether? I'd not heard of this but the concept is fantastic. So much that it would drive the selection of my next phone. Women and little boys can use a touch keyboard. Us 40+ year veterans of construction not so much.

If you get my drifg.

A guy in the office uses something called "touchpal keyboard" that sounds similar. It's an iPhone 5 app. He keeps telling me it fantastic, but I don't get the concept.

actually dictation works pretty seamlessly so I've been using that more and more. But swype is a pretty awesome way to input text on a small screen.
