Is this the end of Facebook? Facebook's next generation, 13 year olds, dont need it anymore?

13 yearolds don't need it. Nobody needs it. Some people I am friends with on there spend so much time on there man. And I have to be all polite because of coworkers and whatnot. Not like parf where I can just go say the F word a hundred times... Damn.

There used to be this place called My Space. All kinds of people went there.

Now they don't so much. As will happen to FB when someone comes out with a new format. I'm guessing that if you watch 13 YO's you'll see the next trend. Make that 8 YO's as they are the new 13.

Not very scientific.......

I asked my 14 year old if any of his friends use Facebook.

Nope.

They use Instagram and some others I've never heard of.

My daughter is 13 and I don't LET her use Facebook.

I suspect a lot of other parents don't let their children either.

My 17 and 19 year old don't use it anymore. They say its full of annoying people.

Face book has been overrun by us old dudes (seriously... and seriously uncool to the teens).

I'm not losing much sleep over it.

If you bought their stock, I warned you!

I guess young folks nowadays rather use Instagram than Facebook.

Yep....The kids have other much more instant ways to communicate, Just us old fossils on the Facebook now! (ps....yes I like Facebook, lots of family pictures, concert photos and party planning happens on Facebook....you must "unfriend" all the annoying attention whores)

When I was a kid.... gif construction set was state of the art.

My teenage kids (16, 19) don't use it much anymore either. They are primarily on Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat or Vine. Or actually, texting. My 16 YO daughter routinely does @ 3-4,000 texts a month.

Sign me up! Instead of paying I want to get paid not to use it all the time!

You're right, I didn't. Something else on my mind, I guess.

Remember My Space? Facebook will eventually go the same way.

But life goes on relentlessly ;)

I think I have a facebook page....honestly I almost never look at it.
My kids 12 and 14 have it, they used to play the games, but I limit their game/computer/TV time to >1 hour a day (total for all, schoolwork exempt) so they don't bother with FB anymore.
