Still having issues? I saw your post on the other thread about "traceroute" so I know you picked up something from this thread. That's truly a "moot issue" for what's happening to your "connection" imo. I could route you around the world 2 times (50 hops) and have relatively "huge" delays at every device interface, but that's the nature of IP routing and isn't the root cause of your problem ...just possibly might indicate a symptom. Sorta like my mom feeling my forehead when I was small to see if I was running a fever. I'll let this go, if you don't want to pursue it, but I've also spent 18 months pursuing and solving TOUGH intermittent networking/system issues before too that bring whole corporations to a screeching halt, so I can latch on with the tenacity of a pitt bull if necessary :). Isn't gonna solve anything, but I would be interested in seeing the results of a traceroute from both your office and home...but that's just out of curiosity and probably not going to help get to the "crux" of your issue at hand. There is a WHOLE lot going on behind the scenes...
