Well this one turned out OK...they found the SUV with the 17 month old still inside sometime today. It might very well have been related to the heat I'm guessing...I bet they left it running with the A/C on or something...whew!

I would never leave my 8yr old son alone in the car as I only ever let him drive it when I'm sat in the front passenger seat.

It's his mum's/my wife's car and a stick shift so if he was to miss a gear and blow up the box or clutch she would kill me.
