They're supposed to be fun...if you can find one at a sane price.
Kel-tec has had lots of trouble meeting demand over the past year. The mark-up on their stuff is outrageous, especially considering the overall quality of their product.

Lots of dealers are out of stock, I see.

Ive had my eye on them ever since they were announced several years ago......I turned one down at 500$ when the msrp was 375. I saw one the otherday at a pawnshop marked 899$ which I thought was insane.
It is a neat little gun and the ideal for assaulting beer cans. I have read mixed reviews on feeding and reliabilty. I want to pick one up when the drama about them fades, but Ive been saying that for several years now.

Too plasticky(?) for me, plus not a fan of .22 mag in a handgun.
But lots of firepower I guess. Jim

A) Would love one close to MSRP.
2) Can't use the 30 round mag in Cali, which is the best selling point IMO.

Shot its predecessor the Grendel P30. Snappy recoil, BIG muzzle flash, LOUD blast.

Too much plastic for me too. I have handled their .223 rifle and thought it was a real POS in fit, finish and feel. Buy a ruger single six used for a fraction of the price. Made out of steel and a pleasure to shoot. Both 22 lr and 22 mag cylinders. What do you need to blast 30 rounds for in one sitting. .22 mag isn't that cheap!

Not to snipe, but why would you want to judge what someone else thinks they need in a firearm?
I think 30 rounds of .22 mag would be a pretty good HD pistol, with low penetration and easy for the misses to handle.

I am curoius: can you get .22 mag rounds that are made for defense and significantly penetrating? Anything I have seen is made to explode on a small game or varmint. G |
