Frankenmuth MI Autofest pics
 

We spent the w/e taking in the sights and sounds of all kinds of cool cars in Frankenmuth. We are only about 15 minutes away so we are there ALOT. :)

Anyway, I didn't take our good camera but found these pics that I know some of you other gearheads would dig. there was a thread yesterday about solid vs hydraulic lifters. I heard plenty times the "shicka-shicka of factory solid lifters.

There was only 1 other Porsche there. It was a mid 80's Targa with an aftermarket wide body kit and ........a small block Chevy.

Strange for a German town not to have more representation from the Fatherland.

The Muth! My brother in law is from Frankenmuth. I've got to get up there one day and feed my kid some Zehnders chickens. Let her get a taste of her Michigan roots.

Excellent photos. I have MI ties, but I have never visited the 'muth....guess I should.

I'm thinking it would be cool to host a German car show at some point.

BTW- the SC represented our marque very well. Obviously, it can't run with the big dogs but it still gets plenty of interest from folks.

Zehnders is over-rated. Black Forest is a much better choice. Now that you are in Ohio it's only a few hours away. Load up the 997 and head this way sometime.
