Banner removal in Yahoo.
Recently when in Yahoo retrieving email, I now get a banner across the bottom of the screen. Ad.yieldmanager.com asking to save, open or cancel a download.
When it pops up, it freezes my screen. Down the usual, cleared cookies, blocked the website in Internet options, ran Malware program, called the idjuts at Yahoo, did an internet search....all concern after downloads. Nothing has been downloaded..... I'm trying to keep the banner from popping up. Yes, I have a popup blocker.....this one has slipped in somehow.

Edit your hosts file - in Mac or *nix /etc/hosts in Windows c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Add a line 0.0.0.0 ad.yieldmanager.com No more anything from that hostname ever.
