Late night breakfast in Vegas?
We used to make a habit of late night steak and eggs in wild bills saloon. It was $5 a plate and served no purpose but to help you feel less bad the next day. Wild bills is gone now and we are heading to the flamingo for a stag soon. I wondered if there are any other cheap and dirty places within staggering distance of our hotel where we can get some bacon and hash browns? Any recommendations? I'd say in this case economics and location out weigh quality. We are usually a bit worse for wear by that time.

Can't help you. But I'm wondering how a place in Vegas called Wild Bill's Saloon, a place that served late night steak and eggs, could possibly go out of business. Just don't seem right, by my reckoning.

Eureka casino and café. Off East Sahara. In the good old days the early mornings would often see tables of just off duty metro cops and other off duty folks with lots of beepers on their persons.

I remember staying at the Flaming O about 5 years ago and having to walk all over the strip to find a light meal at 10 PM. I don't know why, but everything seemed to be closed on a Tuesday night.

I don't think eureka is open after midnight. Wild bills got sold. It s always packed but I guess there is a limit to how much money you can make selling five dollar plates. That patch of real estate must be worth a fortune though.

Ellis Island or the Orleans. About $5 for breakfast. Ellis Island is preferred.

Just in case this topic ever comes up again and someone digs up this thread, Ellis Island is open all night for breakfast ,from 11 to 11 and the steak and eggs is great.
