The "rat line" not only provided nazi access to Argentina, but also to Chile, Brazil and Paraguay.
I'm sure lesser numbers to other countries. The Vatican provided letters of passage, visas etc. to many higher ranking nazis looking to bolt before TSHTF.

I understand that Chile and some other Suoth American countries in the 19th century had the the German army train and equip them. That is why their military parades and their uniforms still look like they came staright out of 19th and 20th century Germany, before WWII.
