Tim Thomas will take the Panthers to the first round of the playoffs, win the Vesina, and then announce he wants to run for President. :D

Because like all goalies, he marches to the beat of a different drummer. He also has an incredible knack for proving the nay-sayers wrong.
If only we could have the dream team of Thomas/Rask again.

No goalie can take that team to the playoffs. And certainly not in the East with the new format.

I think I'm with Finn on this one - a 39+ yr. old netminder who for all intents & purposes has been out of hockey for a year & change may not be able to regain his old form. Personally, I think he's quite a character & I hope he does well.

Lastly, I love watching Tim play. The only goalie more entertaining was Dom Hasak. His outspoken nature isn't all that bad either. You gotta respect the man. He's hung in there when others would give up and is willing to put it all on the line.

Had a few bounce off my helmet over the years but I only played goal once, we lost 6-0, they had 4 shots, it was bad, its a tough position, I actually thought I had a chance, wrong again.
