Good, Cheap Borescope
Any ideas on a $30 to $50 borescope? I can hook it into a laptop via the USB port.
Decent optical quality; builtin LEDs; not too wide in dia. |
Good and cheap are usually mutually exclusive.

Harbor Freight starts at $90. The HD is $199. Get on their mailing list and you get a 20% coupon once a month.
Don't know how good but this appears to be just a camera, no screen, that you use with a PC: Amazon If you do get something like this, let us know if it suited your needs. |
Not sure if its any good, but saw this:

I have the HF and if you get one, there are two models, one has a small end, the other is larger. The small one I use in my black powder rifles (45 and 50 cal) but the larger one will not fit. Works great!

"Ming Po Brand" can be found on Chinese website.
Good deal! rjp |
that Amazon one is 640x480
the Sears one that motion posted is not a USB plugin you'd think they could make a decent one for rel. cheap if it is a USB plugin camera and they don't have to include an LCD screen |
Self-administered colonoscopy?

For those suffering from Rectal Cranial Inversion ;-)
We got one from Amazon, but it does not have lighting, or enough low light capability to use effectively down the spark plug hole. Good for checking in tight spots as long as you have a flashlight on the area |
anyone try the $20 ones om Ebay from China ?
|
I did and it was crap.
