That's so sad. I hope I see them in the great hereafter.

I remember when they announced these 7 men to be the first. I was just down to the Space Camp in Huntsville al., last week. To see the spacecraft they went up in, and that they returned in, is amazing. Great exhibit and very informative about the early days of the space program. These men were the best.

One does have to wonder how much extra rocket fuel had to be used to lift the weight of their big brass balls...
