how to wire LED clearance lights on RV ?
My restoration of a 1968 Avion truck camper is now at the point of replacing all of the exterior marker lights. I have not removed any of the OEM lights yet so not sure if they will have one wire or two. Seems to me Avion used the aluminum skin for ground. Anyway the new LED clearance lights I picked up at NAPA auto parts have a white and black wire but no indication of polarity. Anyone know if there is polarity ? Or should I connect all the same way and be good to go ?

Unlike most thing trailers use the whits as a ground. Just to be sure hook one up to your truck battery and verify function.

Like Rick said........the white is usually ground. Most of the pig tails come with a ring terminal on the white one.

Yep installed the first one this morning the camper only had one black wire on the OEM light. I riveted the white ground to the skin. Hooked up the truck and the light worked fine......just nine more to go !
