Jeez! Lots of top notch race machinery there! Stratos! JLP935! McLaren. Is that an Audi R8?

Sheesh!

Many, if not all of those pictures are very old. Ive seen themnbefore, especially the GTO and the cobra Daytona coupe. But it would be great if you were the first to come across one of them.

Brilliant. Some of those pics are pure art. Not least the cars more or less over grown in the second part. The pic of the 924 (944?) sticking out of the bushes is a beauty.

I believe the GTO is the one we used to see in Ohio for years. Many tried to rescue it but were thrown off the property. There was a Lambo there as well, just sittin out in the weeds. Last I knew the GTO was finally sold for big money.

What would be intersting is the back story on some of those cars. The back story on how that Daytona Coupe was rediscovered for example, is very interesting. I'd love to know some of the details.

Most of those pictures have made the rounds before. Would still like to find one of those cars at the right price though.

I remember hearing a story about a D-Type Jag that was sent to the crusher back in the 70's. I cringe a little everytime I think about it.

I ask myself, Why are cars like this abandoned?

But what would it cost to restore this? Probably more than a good one is worth.

I shed many a tear looking at these pictures. My hope is that some of them have been saved and being returned to their former glory

yessir that is the one! I know people that even plotted theft of that car to save it. $4.25 mill end sale so he wasn't as crazy as we all thought.
