Nice looking car. A few things wrong with it (No 1.7 badge in '72, passenger seat updated to 1973-76 type) but otherwise, if no rust, could be a great buy.

The movable passenger seat came out in 1972.

1972 model. Originally a 1.7, now replaced by a 2.0 with dual Weber 40mm carbs. Thrilling ride. Tuned by Protech Motorsports (Porsche specialists in Greenville, SC).

Carbs usually indicate the FI system was toast. And usually a sign of poor maintenance.

Very good body, nice interior, carpet shows wear, no cracks in the dash, all good glass. Light rust in battery box area is fully repaired.

Must review the hell hole. If it had rust in the battery box repaired, there is rust in the hell hole.

Well preserved, odometer shows 26,946 (certainly not 126,946).

Very likely 126,946 or it is a replacement Odometer or it has been reset.

Tight driver, many new parts including: suspension, tires, brakes, fuel pump, battery, rims recently polished. Asking price of the car will include approximately $2000 worth of spare parts. If you don't want the parts I will sell them separately and negotiate my price. I'm slow to answer emails but call me on my business cell # 864.350.6010. Don't make offers without discussing it with me.

If you can't call or write I might suspect you are one on the many time wasters. Don't mean to sound like I'm not personable, but I just have limited time and would like to find a good home for this nice example. I brought it back to life after 20 years of storage.

LIST OF PARTS: rebuilt 5spd side shifter trans,

If there is a side-shifter in the car, while not original, it would be a plus.

chrome front & rear bumpers, engine hood, 4 consoles, two with gauges, 2 complete fuel injection kits from a 2.0, & 1.7, blk seats with floor mounting hardware, rear windshield, behind the seat padding, carpets, floor mats, front & rear floor carpeting, wheel lugs, roof hinges, chrome windshield frame, numerous rubber gaskets, shifter components, rear valance, 5 exhaust systems, (Corsa, Monza, Pacer, custom Megaphones, and additional custom components), tail lights, full windshield rear view mirror, head light buckets, factory jacks, chrome luggage rack, left door pocket, both L & R interior door panels, windshield washer components,

Sounds like the Windshield washer is out of service

two sets of heater blowers and hoses,

Sounds like the heater is out of service

door locks, door handles, hinges, fuel pumps, vinyl sail kit,

Cause the Vinyl sail parts aren't installed. I suspect the car has been repainted.

exhaust gaskets, many trim pieces, steering wheels, horn kits, fuses, hoses, electrical panels, engine parts, lots of great

I would check the heat exchangers to see if they are Swiss cheese. Or if it even has heat exchangers. Dripping oil usually finds it's way into the HEs.

Not planning to pursue, so if anyone has interest, please don't hold off on my account.

I heard that there was a re-call on 914s. The ones that didn't have rust were sent back to get some.

Then I guess none we're recalled...

LOL. None of mine for sure. Even the ones I owned in FL were rust magnets..
