Importing a US Spec 911 from Canada back to USA
Hi Guys,
Dad is looking at a 964 in Canada. The car was originally a US spec car imported to Canada by the current owner. Anyone have some intel on what is involved to get the car imported back to the USA if he makes the purchase? Thanks!

Make sure you clear Canadian customs and get all proper paperwork.
When the car went to Canada the original title would have been surrendered and the car is now Canadian. If you don't have the customs declarations you may, (depending on your state) have trouble getting a new title.

The current owner may have the US title that he used when importing it North (I have all of mine). If not start here: Importing Canadian Vehicles | Importing Vehicles and Engines | US EPA
Clearing the car thru Canada Customs is not required (as of a month ago) but they recommend it.
