NEED address in Montana or Idaho to have a porsche dropped off

Hello,
I will be having a boxster shipped from chicago to either montana or idaho soon.
I need a location or address where I can have the car dropped of by the auto transport in Montana or Idaho. I have to be able to store the car there for 1-2 weeks so I can arrange things on my end so I can drive down from Canada and tow it home.

would really appreciate any help. Small fee for who can store the car for me

It gets to complicate if I ask the auto transport to bring the car into canada and I dont have the time to make the drive to Chicago to get the car myself.

Any suggestions

Good call. You could probably piss on Canada from there, even with a headwind.

We use guys like that all the time when moving bulk product into Canada.

Worth every penny to ensure your product makes it through customs.

Business like this are all along the border. Quite a lot of US companies offer "free freight" in the USA. Shipping costs to Canada can be 4X what it is in the USA and a certain company that makes their employees wear brown clothes thinks they are the government when it comes to Customs clearances.

You're welcome to have the car dropped off on my driveway in Red Lodge, MT anytime.... I just can't guarantee that I'll be there, or that the driveway will be accessible due to snow. PM me if interested.

I called them earlier today, this is the first time I have ever heard of a business that provides a service like this. The business will provide the location where I can have the car hauler drop my car off and the vehicle will be stored in a fenced inclosure outdoors for the 1-3 weeks I need to organize things on my end. The cost will be...... are you ready for this.

$50.00!!!! I was shocked.

Thank you for posting that link, really appreciated.

Motion,
what can I say, that is a extremely generous offer. If for some reason things do not work out with the business above, I may follow up on your offer and I would be happy to compensate for helping me out. Ill let you know, again, I really appreciate it.

I've also used At the Border Storage in Sweet Grass a bunch of times
They have both indoor and outdoor storage for vehicles - not sure of price.

On request, they also faxed me up the vehicle title / docs so I could re-fax them to the US Border to do the 3-day title check before I drove down to pick it up.

There are at least one of this type of business in every small town along the border. I can order parts for my car from our host and 2-3 days later they are waiting for me. It's only 60 miles to the border for me so it is a afternoons drive to go pick something up. The people I deal with used to run their business out of the back of the hardware store. They shut down the hardware store and opened a huge metal post frame material handling building that semi's can drive thru and they can unload them and store everything inside this last year.
