Cop fired and will be indicted for shooting mentally disturbed man.
Main news story all week here in DFW.
Cop claimed the man had a knife and attacked him and his partner. Should probably have checked the neighbors house for surveillance cameras before concocting a bull**** story. http://rt.com/usa/dallas-police-shoot-mentally-ill-694/ Scrub to :35 <embed src="http://cnettv.cnet.com/av/video/cbsnews/atlantis2/cbsnews_player_embed.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" background="#333333" width="425" height="279" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" FlashVars="si=254&contentValue=50157424&shareUrl=h ttp://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=50157424n" /> |
I interviewed with Taser twice for their department that sells those body cams for cops. They have what looks like a lipstick camera to go on cops' sunglasses so the footage is from the cop's perspective. They turned me down after the first interview and then called again a month later for another sale position, never got back to me after that interview. I saw this story earlier today and emailed it to the guy who interviewed me with the following note:
Hi Joe, Never heard back from you after our last interview. I came across this story and thought of you. This police dept. would be a good prospect for you and they're ready to buy. Good luck. Cheers, RL Am I too informal? |
That's some pretty strong evidence that the guy didn't lounge at them prior to being shot.

Was that a typo or pun intended? Either way, funny. |
Typo, but now that I've proof read it, I see your point:)
