Another good laugh for the day is in order

After scanning the usual diatribes in PARF, I think another good laugh for the day is called for:

Carol Burnett Show outtakes - Tim Conway's Elephant Story - YouTube

Vicky Lawrence's comment at the very end is hilarious.

Saw this (again) just the other day....I've got tears in my eyes from laughing so hard once again. It just doesn't get any better...Thanks!!!

I don't recall Tim Conway ever uttering an unkind word. But he was SO funny...

Thank you. You made me smile and laugh this morning. You never will experience anything like that scene again.

Oh Haha 10-26-2013 07:08 AM

You know Tim Conway does the voice of Barnacle Boy on Spongebob Squarepants, don't you?

Ernest Borgnine did Mermaid Man until he passed away recently.

BTW - Jack, how was the traffic in Fulshear today?

flatbutt 10-26-2013 02:12 PM

I can't find a vid of it but if you see Tim Conways old man falling down the stairs it is, IIRC, one of the best bits of physical comedy I've seen.

James,
I never left the house today but daughter drove out around noon and asked what's with all the traffic? She didn't know IH10 was being shutdown over the weekend and doesn't come out here that way. I expect it was a big mess on all the alternate routes, a good place to avoid.

That was great, I couldn't stop smiling. Thanks for posting.

I remember her shows... Her and Red Skelton and others of those days. Such great comedy and they were having too much fun doing it. Then there was Laugh In..different but good.

His "old man/ butler" routines were hilarious! I've seen the one you mentioned, there's also one where he's trying to turn the huge doorknob on a large door that's also great.

thanks.. just spend 2-3 hours watching all the connected you tube clips.. lol..

Drdogface 10-27-2013 02:48 PM

Me too. I found one where Conway is an old man in a park and Carol is a bag lady who sits down next to him… At one point she gets back to the Siamese elephants again, connected at the trunk with another punch line… musta been a standard repeated joke line…

Her line…One of them got a cold and sneezed and blew both their brains out…. You hadda be there I guess...
