Will we know?
 

Inspired by the Dottore thread.

Over the years we have had several Pelicans pass away, likely far more than we know of.

When my father passed I went to the MB forums where I knew people who knew him would be and let them know he had passed. My father exhibited at car shows pretty much every weekend and the shear number of people he had become aquatinted with was impossible for any one person to know much less inform.

So, who knows you hang out here? And will they let us know if something happens to you?

FWIW my wife will let you know. She is well ware of Pelican and sometimes will even tell me, "hey, regarding X situation, ask your Pelican guys what they think"

I wonder if people I don't really know will keep endorsing me on LinkedIn for things I don't really do after Im gone.

I don't have any friends or family that participate on Pelican so when I pass the posts will just stop.

I have told a lot of friends I hang out here but honestly? All women who really don't give two hoots I am on this forum. Family are skeptical of Pelican and think I am hanging out in some weird chat room with weird men. Ha ha!

If anything happened to me, Sidney would be the first to know and he would pass it on. And I would have no problem with that. I consider a lot of people on this forum friends and would want them to know. :)

How about a social media doomsday device? A program that will delete your entire internet identity, clear your browsing history, and freeze all bank accounts if you don't enter the numbers 4-8-15-16-23-42 every day. Is there an app for that?

As for how you shall know...my wife won't tell you, my girlfriend will just move on, my hooker will prolly look to pass a trick off you which leaves my mistress....ya, she'll let you know. ;)

A lot of my family is also friends with folks here, and connected on FB.

My wife has been given explicit instructions to NOT let you guys know... she doesn't need the hassle of you guys trying to finagle bikes from her :)

dude, I think the bikes would be about the last thing on our mind if you wife called!
