Blaupunkt - what model is this?
 

I have a vintage Blaupunkt that I'd like to use in one of my cars, but need to find some information first. Can anyone help me identify this model? There are no labels or other markings anywhere on the chassis. Also any tips on forums or other information sources would be appreciated.

Blaupunkt Radios for 356 Porsches

Wow. That is excellent information to be sure. However, it is only good up through the middle 60s or so - mine is a stereo model, likely from the middle 70s. Tragically the label on the chassis is missing, so serial number look up is out of the question. I will likely need to start with a visual id and proceed from there.

My best guess would be a Frankfurt. Mine has plain black pushbuttons, but yours may be a variant. Is the picture in a Duetto?

DA, yes photo is in a Duetto. I am hoping to use the Blaupunkt in my GTV since I just got a CDR 220 for the 911.

I will search for Frankfurt Stereo to see what comes up. I had only seen mono up till now.
