Anybody received their F1 tickets yet...???
 

Here we are, less than two weeks from the start of festivities in Austin and so far no tickets. WTF??? When I purchased them they said they would be printed in mid-October and mailed at that time. My parking passes were FedEx'd to me last week but where are the tickets?

Has anyone received their tickets yet or did some punk steal them from my front porch?

I was having similar thoughts last nite. I live in Austin & have not seen tickets yet either. I am headed on assignment & will be flying home for the race. Hope my tickets are wAiting for me on the 16 th....:confused:

I tried calling COTA to get an answer but repeatedly fell into voicemail black holes and never did speak to an actual person. In my book, they're cutting it WAAAAY too close on this one....

Ticket, I don't need no stinkin' ticket. I already have the best seat in the house. Too bad I have to stand through the whole race.

I got my tickets on Monday. I purchased them in the spring. The COTA FAQ mentioned they were being sent based on order date.

Separately, last year I used the Fan Vision with limited success. Does anyone know of a closed circuit radio transmission during the race? I can't see the pit area from my seats (in T12) so I would appreciate hearing some race stats during the race.

Thoughts?

Got a notice from Ticketmaster today that my tickets had been printed and were going in the mail.

Yep, just received my notification as well.

I still don't get the logic in waiting until the last possible moment..... friggin crazy. Maybe this helps cut down on counterfeiters and fraudulent ticket schemes but it makes me nuts.

That's the only reason that comes to mind...

I haven't gotten mine either. Maybe I should call up the comptrollers office to see if I can get my dollar back.

I called Ticketmaster last week to check on my tickets and they said I was set up to download my tickets online ?!?!? I told them I wanted them mailed. They charged me $15 and I received them a couple days later.

Just like last year, these are not the really nice tickets but they're better than a print out from home.
