Disney's The Kid Porsche 356

So I was watching Disney's The Kid today (fun movie) and like the shots of the black 1999 Porsche 911 Convertible Bruce Willis drove. However, at one point he goes back in time to 1968 and is shown in a 356 speedster with Fuchs. Beautiful car and I really like how it looks with the fuchs. However, I was wondering, i didn't think the fuchs came out until AFTER the 356 had stop being produced. Grant it, I know it is a movie and I SUPPOSE I could see someone liking their 356 back in the day and keeping a few years then going to porsche in the 60s (was it 1966 that fuchs first came out) and putting the on the car, but really a bit of a stretch. Still it looks great.

That's our friend's 58 Speedster built by the late great Ed Osborne. He wanted disc brakes to match the beefed up engine and fitted REAL 911 R Fuchs on it.
Fairly common to put fuchs on a 64-65 356 if you want to Outlaw it up a bit.

I never liked the look of Fuchs on a 356. It's too much bling for the understated beauty of the 356 form.

Fuchs are like a little black dress or a string of pearls. They go with everything.

The mispronunciations will do two things:

1. Separate the Porsche crowd from the posers

2. Make for some HILARIOUS out-loud reading!
