I think I'd get too hot with it around my neck. I'd rather where a helmet.

And they don't say what triggers it.

It obviously triggers by a connection due to a sudden jolt. I wonder if it is reusable? Re-packable like a parachute? I'd hate to think every time you throw it on a chair or fall over it deploys and you need a new one.

Funny though it reminds me of that movie from the 70's where the prisoners wear the exploding collars. If the run POP off goes the head.

HaHa In the mid 60,s when motorcycle helmets became mandatory here. I remember a helmet with a beatle wig glued to it so it looked like you had big hair ,not a helmet. Required for weekend rebels wherever they are.

I'm thinking of doing some winter mountain biking and at 10 to 20 degrees I'm going to try my ski helmet, that should keep my head warm. It does when I'm skiing.
