Help Outlook 2013 Crashing

Keeps on getting stuck when synchronizing. Fyi, i have various imap accounts running and the size of my pst is over 2.5 gb

Started it on safe mode and disabled add ins but still getting stuck.

I appreciate any help!

you've either got a corrupt piece of mail coming in or more likely someone thought it funny to send you a humongous attachment.

You have access to webmail for that account?

Yes i do. Already checked 2 out of the 6 email accounts. Checking the rest now.

I found it odd that i received an update from a google calendar which dates back 3 months. Wonder if that could have something to do with this.

Account which seems to get stuck synchronizing is an aol account.

I disabled accounts from send / receive group. Added them one by one. Problem seems to be with aol. Apparently with the latest update from microsoft it has to synch all the folder.

Thoughts?

So it's resyncing a decade worth of mail?

May just have to wait it out or get into the AOL account and purge.

That is what I think. I left it on overnight and it never completed. When I clicked an email it instantly froze up...

Will go and purge at AOL (which I can access online, ipad and blackberry).
