Anybody have an old King 2b trombone?
You know, just laying around...
Let me know! My horn is getting a little worn out. It's 34 years old. KT |
sounds like you need to go easy on your horn or give it a rest once in a while. Sounds like someone has been blowing it too much.
just sayin sorry, that was too easy... |
I will ask my brother, it would not surprise me a bit if he had one, or knew someone with one
He is not one to part with musical instruments though, now that I think about it, he has some fairly esoteric ones. |
Tell him it would go to a good home.
I will have played 5 separate days this week. KT |
Rusty trombone?
I have one in my folks attic....don't recall the make |
Please check into it if you are able.
Thanks! KT |

There's a 'bone in a dusty corner at the shop, I'll see what it is.
Nice mute btw Jim |
well, there goes my gift exchange idea!
|
I have a whole new appreciation for the Trombone. There was a young man playing at Kingston Mines with the Chicago Blues All Stars that was absolutely incredible! I never had heard a Trombone played so soulfully.

trek, i hope that plunger is strictly for the horn, & not for helpin push a stubborn meal down the shatter...
|
He I am in '84 on the same horn with the same plunger:

We've got Tom "Bones" Malone coming in in 2 weeks to do a clinic with our big band for area students. Hey, if you want something larger than a "peashooter", how about a nice 88H?
|
Tom plays a P-Bone ( plastic trombone ) on Letterman quite often.
I'd be curious to hear his take on the horn. ( I have a red one ) He alternates between purple, yellow and a brass horn. KT |
