would it be justifiable homicide to pop one of these idiots? It's one punch with the intent to knock you out. No robbery, rape etc. It's meant to be a surprise so you don't see it coming. To shoot after the fact I would think puts you at risk for prosecution. What do you legal eagles have to say.

how do you know that they will only hit you once?

I saw a couple of security camera videos about this on the news last night.
In one of the videos after they punch and knockout or down the victim one the a holes walked back and kicked him a few times.
I would think a jury would be on the side of the victim.

What a bunch of pussies we have become. Even thugs don't have the balls to walk up to a guy and talk trash and have a proper scrap.

Just waiting for video of some punk doing this and getting his ass beat severely by his intended victim.

Depends on the state. In some states you'd be charged, but no jury would convict. In the free states they'd not even think about charging you.

Oh there have been punks killed for this. I was just thinkin' how it would work for the victim after the fact.

Unfortunately, it sends a message about needing to cross the street, if they cross the street as well, you should be concerned and watch your back.

There have been a few news reports of these punks taking a rounds from their intended victims.
