Being Thankful...
Yes, I am thankful. I am thankful for the amazing life I have with an amazing family and an amazing women (with a red aura) that I love crazy. I am thankful for my friends new and old and the opportunity to make money doing what I truly love.
I am also thankful for many of you including the bible thumpers and liberals and the athiests and conservatives alike. You do all bring a richness to this world and I truly do value your insights and musings. I am also thankful for Wayne and this bored...it really is a pretty cool place to hang out, have a drink and spew opinions and learn a little something along the way... Thanks guys and gals...

I am thankful for my family. We are all very close and can depend on each other no matter what.
I am thankful to have a job that I love. It allows me a great deal of autonomy, lets me be creative and takes care of my family and my hobbies. I am thankful for Wayne and this BBS where I've met many cool people. |

I am thankful for a new job I am in the home stretch of landing.
I am thankful for my gorgeous wife, her awesome family, and how they have helped me better understand what I want out of my life. I am MOST thankful for the little miracle brewing in Mrs Saucy's belly right now, he should be here for the New Years Party

I've been given a blessed life and I'm thankful for it every day. It's especially nice to be reminded to say it out loud now and then though.

I'm thankful for......
1- My good health, despite Crohn's and my hacked up, twwisted arthritic back, (just so I can go to work everyday and play in the garage.) 2- A fantastic and understanding wife, two of the best people I have ever known (my son & daughter). 3- My extended family. 4- My cantankerous 90 year old father. 5- The Pelican BBS 6 - The fantastic feast this Thursday where my entire family gets together and tells eachother what we are thankful for and how much we love eachother as we go around the table. You get it, no reason to continue. Thankful everyday I'm above ground and walking. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I'm thankful for all the events in my life, good and bad, for they all have led me to my present state.
. Also, I'm thankful for Wayne allowing this forum to flourish with contributions from its members - from whom I have gained great entertainment and edification! . I often say, "I read it on the Pelican Forum"...and others say, "Where? What is that?" I find myself bragging about the vast array of experiences and wisdom that my fellow Pelicans freely put forth here. I am truly grateful - Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I'm thankful for my kids; they're all healthy, smart and amuse the hell out of me. Absolutely the 3 best "things" to ever happen to me.
I'm thankful to have a stable career that keeps putting money in my bank account. I'm thankful for my wife; an amazing lady, and one who is supportive of my vehicle addiction (just added an '84 Corvette C4 to my stable yesterday). Oddly enough, I'm thankful for my ex-wife. She's the woman who gave me the 3 kids that I'm so in love with. And though we're divorced, we have a good relationship so we're both still a "team" with our kids. That means a lot to me. I'm thankful to all the men and women I've served alongside over the years, and I'm thankful for the young men and women who continue to defend this great nation of ours. A special thank you goes out to the ones who can't be home with their families right now.

Oh, I must say - I am sooo thankful that an ex-fiance had an affair.
I fell off the floor! I had no idea how alone I was and that I didn't even have my Self. That event precipitated a 25 yr. learning process that has led me to what and where I am today. We all have 'defining moments' in our lives, and that one is the pinnacle for me! Thank You Joan...for being who you were! .

I'm thankful for everything we have. This board ???? is a great place to see the world, learn new ideas, and meet new people. This is my favorite time of year, and we should all be thankful for whatever life has to give us. Americans, at the poorest level, are 100 times richer then 80% of the worlds population. Give to somebody less fortunite than you, even if its just a small bit.
