Half models and other models
Anyone else collect these? I've got about a half dozen. The big half models were used to build real hulls. (I know you all knew that). The second one is over four feet long (that's a 4 ft yard stick). The non-enclosed Titanic model, I just got for $50. Happy with that. Ignore all the dust, these things are hard to dust especially the open Titanic, without wrecking them.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1385755258.jpg

I don't have any halff models but I have built two wooden ship models, a schooner and a 14 gun brig. I don't have a good pic of the schooner.

Very nice!

Thanks Peril it was a fun & LONG process. I just snapped a pic of the schooner.
And those half models are awesome!! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1385760268.jpg |
Nice work, Buck. I could never do that. Wish I had the talent.

Thanks for the complement Peril. Although I don't know how much talent was involved but I will say a whole lot of patience!! What's funny about that is people that know me, myself included, say I don't have any patience. There is just something about creating that gives a person that little extra I guess.
