Any experience/suggestions with Memorial Fund and Remembrance sites?

Hi,

A close friend and colleague died yesterday. He leaves behind a wife and five children between 8 and 21. Tragic and unfair.

I offered to set up a Memorial Fund and remembrance site for his colleagues in our industry. Opening a bank account is easy, does anyone have experience with using PayPal or similar online methods to receive money into that account? Perhaps it is easier to use my paypal account and pass the funds through.

Any experience with Forevermissed.com; Legacy.com; or similar sites to share memories, post photos, etc?

Thank you,

Don

I think setting up a contribution account at a local bank is strictly the "cleanest" thing you can do.

I would not pass donations through any of your personal accounts.
