This had to have been staged.

There's no way they could have driven off the HD lot given the weight of that load.

the load may have started off on top of the car and slowly slid towards the rear (as in the pic) as the car was moving.

Hey,

What's the big deal? I needed to do something similar when I had my Spitfire and needed to complete a home project.

A pile of uncut plywood sheets over the windshield sure made for some interesting driving.

One red Jetta. Gently used. Used only for running errands on the weekends. Car is lowered. Has custom exhaust with turned up exhaust tip. Small dent in roof (hardly noticeable). Buyer to pick up at Home Depot. Thanks for looking!
