There is more to the story - guy is running a car detailing and refurbishing/ resale business in his front drive.Neighbors resorted to the fairly restrictive covenant enforcement because the activity is constant and all hours...all day long and into the evening on weekends and so forth. He uses noisy washing equipment/tools and it's a business. Makes a little more sense..... |

To make videos in landscape as opposed to "vertical or rotated landscape"? Looked like the Officer was going to bust out laughing..... Seriously.... how many other areas have codes/regulations regarding water use? So-Cal? In many HOAs you cant do anything on your property that is not within the rules....and that is as local as local law gets.. I wonder where in NY that was filmed? The two kids seemed like friggin know it alls and, and were given a break when the registration and ownership info did not match.... Pick your battles... They were shown the code/rule and tried to argue with the wrong people..... The officer did not write the code... Just nod your head and get the police off your property...

I'm sure for a cop that's an easy visit. I don't think they get to decide what to enforce. Someone called the dispatch and they were sent out...as rediculous as it is.
I took a tour of the local police station with the scouts. The supervisor said that in my county they make like 200,000 contacts like that a year. Wow. He also said people use that "I pay your salary...." Thing all the time. His reply was "...about that...I've been looking for a raise.
