Just had a great lunch with my son Chris and Matt F from the Board at Sky Top Lodge here in PA. Fabulous place and great company. Matt gave my Son and me Porsche beanies, a pcar poster and a GT2 Hot Wheels for my one month old grandson.

The staff cleaned the table prior to the picture. There was a lot more Yeungling Black and Tans on the table prior!
If any of my Pelican friends get the opportunity to meet up with Hugh and Chris, without hesitation, run as far and fast as you can away! Seriously, one of the best afternoons I've enjoyed in years. Hugh is the consummate gentleman and Chris is what I would want if I had a son. Respectful, intelligent and likes beer. We all spoke about meeting friends in person "on the inter webs" and had a good laugh. Of course I was carrying my .45, so I was comfortable. (While sitting with my back to the wall.) Nota. You are the MAN and so is your wife. No pun intended. Baz, you fight the good fight and I respect that and I can't listen to Sarah McLachlin w/o tearing up. Sammy, your present is in the mail. Seriously, I'm not a computer guy or ever thought I would have "Virtual Friends" but even this crusty prick has learned new things. Merry Christmas to you all! Matt |
Matt, you were packing heat? I understand packing when you meet an internet "friend" and suggests you meet at a pool hall or titty bar, but this was a real nice place. Seriously, being from CA I never gave it a thought.
Yeah, Chris is a good kid, he can hold his own in conservation, he knows when to not sit on the iPhone, and rather engage in conservation. Matt and I had a few laughs at some of your expense. |
