$400k just doesn't buy what it used to:
I can remember when you could get a half-decent F-car for less than that. Now this smashed, (was probably totaled at the time), 330GTC that looks like it was stored in a wet barn is for sale for $395k.
![]() Makes an early 911 look positively cheap in comparison. 1967 Ferrari 330GTC ![]() |

Check out some of their other cars for sale.....I've run across them a few times while looking for a 911.....most of their stuff looks like it was stored in a wet barn.
They have a 912 that they say needs 'minor cosmetic work'.....looks like 30 generations of rats have made a home of the interior... |

It's a re body candidate to a 250GTO:
Bonhams : 1965 Ferrari 330GT/250GTO Re-creation Chassis no. 7225 Engine no. 7225 That would be sweet!

To repair and restore it, I'm guessing $200k minimum, maybe more. It likely needs absolutely everything imaginable but all of the big pieces are there. Unless both the repair and resto are done by someone with a name in the Ferrari world, the value of the car later would be low.
On the plus side, if someone actually bought the car right, (like this clown did), it's an opportunity for a Pebble Beach quality resto and the car would be potentially worth the new total. They are not going down in value anytime soon. As is usually the case, it's easier and cheaper to just buy a nice one. ![]() |

On second thought, after really looking at the 911 pictures, it would probably need a re-body to restore. It's just a soggy, rusty box of turd. Poor freaking car...
