Conductive pen repair
So I have this old 92 vw golf Cali edition and they use a throttle position sensor only on the edition, no new part or even good used and really no workaround for it. The switch goes bad the engine will hardly run, do you just junk the car, convert it to other than Cali and change the harness and ecu or try to fix it? I took the switch apart and found the traces leading up to the main sweep part were flaked away. I found this silver conductive pen for just such repairs and the damn thing worked great!
Just drove the car non-stop from Michigan to Mississippi 17 hours didn't miss a beat! ![]() ![]() ![]()
