Only about 2 ft of ice but a lot for most small vessels especially around their prop and rudder.

A regular heat wave here.
Can't remember the last time I had mud in my driveway in Jan.

Very cool. Does 2' of ice = spring?

If it does, remind me not to go there until about August.

Good idea, the ice is much thinner in August.

Looks like a nice place. Hope to venture there in the near future.

Ooh Dennis, what cha buildin'?
I think you mentioned a new hot rod a month or so back.

Regarding winter: Two weeks ago, we had about a foot of snow accumulated. Then it started to rain and we got temps well above melting. All the snow is gone from the western Annapolis Valley and the ice went out of the river on Tuesday.

Weird winter.

Best
Les

My Boss is a Firebird nut, has about 8-10 and this is another one. The other one I mentioned before is a Jerry Titus tribute (No. 8) that is almost finished, just got caught out by the sudden (2 months ago) onset of winter. Will follow up on that one when we get back to it.

Hope winter gives up soon!
