Reoccuring dreams??

Anybody have reoccurring dreams?

I have one that goes back as long as I can remember, started when I was around 5 or so.

I used to have it pretty frequently as a kid, and actually forgot all about it, until I had it again last night.

It takes place at my childhood home where I lived until I was about 3. I am leaving the house holding hands with my Mommy, and when I look back at the house, I see myself waving bye to me through my upstairs bedroom window.

It used to scare the crap out of me.

The freaky part is I was supposed to be a twin but my Mommy miscarried. We were just talking about this yesterday, which is probably why the dream returned. I didnt even know about the twin until I was in my 20s.

I am getting chills just thinking about it!

I used to have a recurring dream as a child and it scared the crap outta me. In the dream I'm sitting in the aisle seat of an airliner...when a guy stands up in front and takes over the plane...as terrorists did in 911 and before. My dreams occurred in the early 50's at which time no such things were common..or happening at all. I had this dream all the time and recalled it often during the day.. Have not had it since then but always remember it...

I had a horrible dream for years and years. My wife is the only one I have ever told about it...

Before we were married, and before we had children I would have this dream. Sometimes I would have it more than a couple times a week. In the dream, I am married to she who is now my wife. There was always a horrible death for her and my children who were not really defined in the dream. I always remember at least one female child. Most of the time it was a car accident that killed them all, sometimes it was a hone invasion, other times it wasn't specific. In the dream, I always sell everything and move back to my old hometown in southeastern Montana. I buy a home there and live for a while, meeting people from my past/childhood. In the end I am always incredibly depressed and see myself (like in a movie) in my garage. I always have a revolver (looks like my S&W 66) and I put the end of the barrel in my mouth and pull the trigger... Which is when I wake up.

I have never understood the dream, and it followed me for years. I don't recall when I stopped having it, but I'm glad I did. It was a horrible dream and I always woke up in a cold sweat.

Holy crap, that is one scary dream, Pard ! I'm sure there are pro's (psychs) who could help you figger it out... Was this dream always in color ? Most men dream in B/W unless it's a really meaningful dream...so they say anyway

Up to about eleven years old, I had a recurring dream occasionally. Don't know where it could have originated. I would be suspended in a black void. A yellow stripe or ribbon would come out of nowhere and undulate in the black void. Then a sort of cartoon car would come traveling along the ribbon. Next I would be running along a road in a desert area and come to a service station with a small hill behind it. I would climb the hill in a hurry. When I would get to the top and stand up, the black void would appear again and those large rollers pulled behind bull dozers with sheep's foot would come hurling out of the void toward me. That's when I would wake up calling for my mother. I had it enough times I remember it to this day and always wondered what the interpretation of it would be.
