Bosch distributor 911 T
Hello friends this time I consult on bosch distributors.
stiker says the alternator static timming 2-4 ° ATDC to 900rpm. and dinamic 35 ° BTDC. I use a lamp to lleverlo 2-4 ª ATDC at 900 rpm. But the car feels heavy engine. I wonder if I could be wrong on the information engine decal? Distributor: Bosch 0231159008 Bake point: BOSCH / 1237013052 condecer: 237,330,292 coil: 0221102003 And has a Permatune module (be perhaps a CDI unit?) I also read that it is good idea to use pertronik. I beg your help.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1390484615.jpg |
Hello!
Set the high 6000 RPM advance to 33-35 first and then check the idle timing. If the 6000 advance is correct 33-35 and the idle is not quite right then that is ok. Does your distributor have vacuum retard? My '72T distributor has vacuum retard, you must set the idle advance to 5degrees BTDC with the vacuum off, which makes it 5degrees ATDC with vacuum on. No. has no vacuum advance. So you recommend me to regulate it in 600th rpm? |
Gogar is correct. The important timing setting is at 6000 rpm. Use hearing protection when doing this as you are very close to the fan and the exhaust.
