A 69 Corvette L88 just sold for 510,000 dollars! That's a sign of something? Too much money chasing too few collectible a, maybe.

I think it's just simple economics. Money aggressively moved up over the last great recession. Money simply isn't what it used to be for the Über wealthy. It's just something to laugh over a 50 year old Scotch.
