It is the white skin and the abundant body hair that is supposed to be our Neanderthaler hertitage. White skin is more effective in creating vitamin D from low light and hair keeps us warm.

Wait. So what are my genes from ( 100% Chinese)? I must have come from somewhere? Mommy?

Hugh R 01-29-2014 07:31 PM

No neanderthal tail for your ancestors! They went East out of Africa, not West.

There was a very interesting Nova episode about Neanderthal dna mixed into modern Homeo Sapien dna.

The highest concentrations of Neanderthal dna were among Portugese, northern Italian, and some Russian/ Turkish people. It turns out these locations were favorite places among the Neanderthals to settle. The least amount of Neanderthal dna were among Asians and Africans.

The characteristic large arms, larger rib cage, and wider hip area are somewhat identifiers of the old Neanderthal genes.

NE China = Koreans in drag

far northern China = Mongolians in drag

southern China = Hog Kon (lottsa drag)

way far low China = Vietnamese (no drag)

I saw a program on Discovery that a very high percentage (85%?) of Mongolian carried the genes of the great rapist, Genghis Kahn. Maybe you should get your DNA checked out. They even took the DNA from a bunch of Mongolians who live in the Bay area for the test. Check it out before you claim 100%. ;)

You might be from the Blue Spot Clan:

"Mongolian spots are flat, blue, or blue-gray skin markings near the buttocks that commonly appear at birth or shortly thereafter.

Mongolian blue spots are common among those who are of Asian, East Indian, and African descent"

jyl 01-30-2014 09:52 AM

My daughter had that spot, for a while, after birth.

I wonder if that indicates a common ancestry?
