"The casket consisted of a 9-by-11 cement septic tank, Plexiglas and wood and steel rods to reinforce the bottom."

Hahahaha!

Yeah, it's creepy but so are the elaborate tombs of ancient Egyptian rulers.

Maybe he really, really liked riding his Harley.

I don't find it creepy at all, not even slightly.

Are they going to dig him up next season, so he can participate in charity rides?

How would you like to be driving down the highway & come across that? I agree it's creepy, & while I am not a Harley guy, it seems like a waste of a perfectly good bike.

Saw this one a couple of days ago. Will be interesting to see if this is a new trend. Personally, I'm not a fan.

Unless they are planning on him being above ground in a glass coffin, a la V.I. Lenin, I don't get what is so creepy about this.

What is the difference between the mortuary guy putting you in a nice suit and then into a box and a guy putting you in your riding clothes and putting you in a bigger box on your bike?

It's probably the only time I would not wear a helmet on my bike.

What's the worse that could happen ?

I just think that selling the bike would have paid for final expenses, and spread some around to the widow, or the family.

Dig him back up next season and have a "Weekend At Bernies" theme going on.
