I like to see American cars stay in this country because a) I want to enjoy them b) I don't own a 911 yet, and all the cars getting sucked overseas is sure driving the price up for us future owners.

Older 911's are quickly becoming a rare sight here in the Midwest. A few years ago, there would be 3 or 4 for sale at any given time on Craigslist alone. Now we might get 3 or 4 over the course of the entire summer and people practically fight over them.

After my second dead beat bidder from Europe on two different cars that I sold on Spay I simply do not open them to international bidders anymore. However I make many purchases, mostly from the UK and have only been burned once on a purchase that I paid for and never received the item.

PS...within the last two weeks a friend sold a vintage Lotus on the Bay , winning bidder was a collector in Europe, and you guessed it, never paid or responded to emails.
