Why the #$%#@%#@!!!! can't I embed videos!?

What the heck? I simply cannot embed. I am well aware of how to embed using youtube. But for some reason it just will not work on my machine. I'm using Chrome on a Macbook Pro.

I can grab a quote from another person who has embedded video in their post, copy and paste the exact html code to a new post, and it still doesn't work!!!! WTF?

Your post count is too low...

Did you wait a minute or so?

They take a little time to embed.

OK, so someone please tell me how to embed a youtube (or any other video).
I'm stuck at just posting a link and don't know how to embed.
Is it that my post count is too low? :)
.
Thanks.

My God!!!...who would ever have thought out that process?
Thanks again!

I am losing my mind. Now it works. I appreciate your replies. I already knew how to embed. But it just wouldn't work. I wonder if it has something to do with how I'm navigating to the video I want to post? Who knows.

Thanks again guys.

Check out this door!

was the check box selected on the "embed" section of the youtube code that automatically plays videos afterwards? I've had issues embedding videos if that is selected. it wants to auto-play videos after the first one plays, and for some reason it won't allow it to embed on some sites.

Cool door but I'd hate to get a finger in there while it's opening.

Some door!
Wonder what it weighs...and what actuates it...or maybe just well-balanced.
